I have tried on countless boots for winter including other boots from Bean and these are the best!!!! They are relatively lightweight for what they are, have an EXCELLENT footbed cushion and look cute too! I tried the other version of Bean Boots that zip up into a tall boot but they didn't provide the same support that these do. The fact that they came in wide was just a terrific bonus. I am normally a 7 1/2 to an 8 and I ordered these in a 7W for the perfect fit. Looking forward to slushy days ahead, thanks Bean!
Just received my "Bean boots". they are great, very warm lining, yes the shearling only goes to the ankle, but the rest of the boot lining is also soft. Sizewise I disagree with past reviews, I am a size 7 narrow & ordered 7aa and the fit is true to size, they are the perfect fit. I have given them 1 star less because they are noisy & squeak when I walk, hopefully the leather just needs wearing in. Has anyone else had this problem ? Look forward to wearing these for many years. Am also thinking of ordering the ice treads for winter.
Purchased these for camping trips and college football games. Wore them for the first time at the PSU game and they were perfect! We walk a lot and are on our feet for hours at these games and these boots were perfect! Wore with a medium weight sock and my feet were toasty all day. I normally wear a 9.5 but bought the 9 as suggested and they are plenty big-- I could even wear a heavy weight sock and be fine.
