This is my third winter with these babies and I look forward to blizzards simply to wear them. (I wear my shearling mocs during cold but non-snowy days). Like all LL Bean products, they're functional, comfortable, long lasting, and great looking. What more can one want?
These are so awesome!! I thought they might be tight at first, but when I started walking in them, I noticed just how comfortable they are and how warm the lining is. I have other boots, but none compare to this pair!!!
The Boots are great. Being military and having lived all over these boots have served me well in all climates. I wear a womens 8 1/2 but I purchased an 8. They fit perfect. The shearling is only around the leg and ankle area. The foot part is like a regular Bean boot so in really cold weather you will want a warm sock since there is no shearling or lining. The gum sole is great because you can really feel the ground for good footing. Can be slick on some surfaces. I have let friends try them on and they thought they were great as well.
I just purchased these as a replacement for boots that have worn out from years of wearing. These new boots are well-made and comfortable. The wide width accommodates my wide feet. It's good to see LL Bean has these boots available in my size. Fleece is warm and comfortable and I look forward to using them this season.
