Disappointed that I had to return these boots as they looked great in catalog. They were too heavy to suit me and rather difficult to get on. The fit was OK and they looked fine, just not quite what I had expected. I did keep a pair of the plaid pull on boots which were comfortable and easier to get on/off.
I work in Antarctica during their summer season. Summer temps on average range from 0F to 30F. I've worn these boots for three seasons now. They are warm, waterproof, comfortable and really cute! Trying to buy functional and fashionable clothing for Antarctica can be tough. These nail it every season. McM Station is made up of a lot of lava rock and the soles have held up beautifully. I wear these shoes daily for about 9hrs a day for 4 months out of the year. I work at a desk & am not out working the field in these. That said, i would say the only drawback would be the inside bottom of the boot has just not worn up well to the consistant use. Im curious if there's an insert to buy to replace the one that came with the boot. Overall though, I absolutely love these!
