We are outdoors alot. I work for a school and I am out on the playground with the kids daily. Also weekends we end up outside doing things all the time. Love the fit and warmth, plenty of room for socks in my normal size. Wish the whole shoe was filled with the shearling too. My husband is considering a pair, after seeing mine. Thanks! I have wide feet so the wide footbed fit correctly and felt like it had more support than most boots. Overall construction seemed good but there are some design flaws that caused me to return the boot before wearing out in the snow. The tongue is not gussetted; there is not a fold of fabric or leather connecting it to the side of the boot. I am sure that in time the tongue will slip and snow will enter the boot. The shearling inside is not as thick or plush as the photos indicate and there is little to no insulation in the upper part, above where your toes are. Fine if you're ON snow but cold if you're IN snow. One more minor thing; when the boot was fully laced there was only about one inch of lace left, not enough to tie even a knot. For the price, even on sale, the boot is not what I expected.
I don't know why you wouldn't get these. Kept my feet warm and dry while I shoveled out from the storm the other day. I love that they can be folded down (because they are wicked warm if you have to go inside for any extended period of time). Fantastic. Buy them.
Love the boots. They keep my feet warm while outside taking care of the horses, cleaning stalls, etc. Like being able to pull down the front flap and the quality workmanship. Would buy another pair in the future if these ever wear out!
