I bought these boots for my HS, and college girls in place of requested UGGs to promote USA business and a practical boot!!!! To my surprise the boots were a huge hit and two friends have now ordered them for their kids!!! Great fit, great boot, great company!
These boots are awesome! I have been wearing the traditional "Bean Boots" for over 30 years. I bought this newer fleece-lined version for my daughter last year and this year, I decided to buy a pair for myself. They look and feel great - like the traditional "Bean Boot" - but so soft and warm inside. I would most definitely recommend these boots to everyone - men, women and children. Your feet will never be cold again!
VERY DISAPPOINTING! I was looking for a warm, utilitarian yet stylish, boot to wear in snow (should we ever get some!) and cold in Vermont. Laces are too short to lace up all the way - there's only a few inches of lace left after full lacing - not enough to tie. I also miss the speed lacing feature found on my old boots. Gaps between the tongue and boot when attempting to lace all the way up make them ineffective in substantial snow (and I don't think I have extra fat calves). They're difficult to "fold down" and very unattractive and bulky looking in that state. Photos are misleading - they show longer laces and a different "fold down." I was hoping for shearling in the foot area, as my feet get cold easily. Overall quality much less than the Bean boot of 15 years ago. I will be returning these, looking into getting my trusty aged Bean boots resoled, and continuing my search.
Our feet get cold, so we all wanted warm boots that were cute and comfortable. These boots were all three, but as many previous reviewers wrote, they run big. We were able to order them down a foot size, but not width! For some reason the brown come in narrow, but not the black. My daughter decided to keep them regardless, but please fix this LL Bean!!
