Excellent Quality! Just recieved my 10' Shearling Boots! Ordered these early just in time for the winter months. Started to break them in this morning walking the dog. Completely satisfied and no complaints here. Can't wait for the snow, bring it winter! Highly recommend these boots and all LL Bean products. Very happy and satisfied customer here.
These boots are really cute and I thought they would keep my feet warm. Unfortunately, I will return them due to several issues that are unacceptable for boots of this price. First quality issue is that the laces aren't long enough to lace all the way up the boot. Second, is that the shearling doesn't line the toe portion. My toes got cold just walking from my house to the car and into the store. Finally, the seam on one side of the laces (on the interior) dug painfully into the top of my foot. In terms of sizing, I sized down one size and the fit was perfect (except for that seam). They are really lightweight and well-cushioned but if you can't even lace them up and they are cold and painful, what's the point?

I bought these boots last year in White, and I am now waiting for the black ones hand made just for me in the USA. Proud to own my original all white pair. The comfort, quality, and warmth are beyond compare and true to the New England weather we experience. I can't wait to receive these boots in black, I am honored to know they are being handmade for me by LL Bean. Love the quality, warmth and usefulness of these handmade boots. I hope I can thank the worker who makes these just for me. I would recommend the shearling insert for optimal LL Bean experience. I am so pleased. Order them when you can!
I have wanted a pair of these boots for a really long time. I just was worried that they wouldn't be comfortable, and since I have muscular calves, that they wouldn't fit. These boots are definitely a bit big, but they are comfortable and so far have kept my feet warm. I usually destroy the cheap women's snow boots once a season, so I guess these are an investment. They kept my feet warm in -7 windchill during an ice storm, so here's hoping they do the same in snow!
