After wearing the same old pair of winter boots for about 10 years, and having them re-heeled several times, I broke down and ordered these. They arrived today and when I put my foot into this boot I had a vision that this is what the floors of Heaven must feel like. The fit is perfect, I ordered my normal size 7, and the comfort is beyond description.

I ordered these boots to replace a pair that my mom and I have been trading back and forth for about 20 years (no, I'm not kidding). The other pair had finally given up the ghost, so I ordered these and couldn't be happier! I first ordered a 9 (I'm an 8.5), and they were too big (much as the instructions said, silly of me not to listen) so I used the quick exchange service and had the size 8's three days later. They fit perfectly and are wide enough for my extremely wide feet. The quality is incomperable, and I'm really looking forward to rainstorms, hiking, and winter weather now that I have these awesome boots! The customer service is fantastic. Exchanging these for the smaller size was extremely easy and the real live human on the other end of the phone line was courteous and knowledgeable. There's a reason L.L. Bean is the best in the business, and I have never hesitated to buyfrom them. Get the boots. Worth every single penny. You won't be disappointed.

The boots are exactly as described on the site. I usually wear a 9-10...I ordered the 9 and have enough room for thick socks in the winter. I can't wait for the cold weather to come so I can finally wear these boots!
After reading reviews, I had to go to the store to try on...fit was a little big so I tried the next smaller size....way to tight so I went with my normal size, in winter I will be wearing thick socks anyway so they will be perfect....can't wait for snow!
