These boots are great. I couldn't resist ordering a pair after I found out that they are USA made. The color is a rich versatile brown. The real lamb wool lining is super cozy. Although we don't get much snow here in the south, I'll be prepared we we do! Order down at least a half size.
I purchased these boots specifically for their warmth rating - during the Chicago blizzard of 2011 my boots didn't perform and I ended up with frostbitten toes. I read reviews on these boots and thought these would for sure be the ones, and that this winter I'd be prepared for anything mother nature sent my way. Boy, was I wrong. This winter has been mild and not that snowy, and I've worn these boots three times so far. 20 minutes at the dog park and my feet were freezing! I don't think it was below 30 degrees that day (but there was snow on the ground), so these boots definitely didn't perform. Also, I sized down as instructed and the boots are still too large.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I ordered these in December but got them in February because they were back-ordered, and they were definitely worth the wait! I was tired of having cold feet, and needed a pair of boots that would keep my feet dry and warm. They do just that. I love them. I wear a 7.5 normally, but I ordered a 7 narrow, and they fit perfectly. I was afraid they'd look too clunky, but they're actually not as clunky as you'd imagine. One of my best purchases in a long time.
I finally got my boots after waiting 2 months...i ordered 2 just in case they didn't fit right. I am a true 9 1/2 and i would say my feet are medium width. The 9M sold out so i ordered the 9W and they were MASSIVE!! I returned them bcuz they looked way to manly. The 8M sold out so I went with the 8W. These fit great, they are still quite roomie and i feel like i could have gone with a 7w but that might be cutting it close and the 8m would've been perfection. The stitching on mines looks a tad sloppy and i still haven't mastered the art of folding these boots down, i say art bcuz it requires some practice. the heel cup is big so my heel lifts a little as i walk, but other than that they are soo friggin comfy and i can't wait to wear em in the snow. So all my 91/2 ladies out there if you are unsure of which size to get i recommend the 8 or 8w
