These were a gift for my daughter that is in college in Boston, MA. Her text back to me was "I love them, they are super warm. I've worn them everyday and tomorrow it is supposed to rain. Can't wait to stomp in the puddles!"
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
As I write this review it is currently 6.2 degrees outside and these boots definitely fit the bill for a Minnesota winter. Not once since purchasing and wearing these boots have my feet been cold, wet or any form of uncomfortable. The boots offer great support and are comfortable to wear. They are also what I consider stylish for winter boots without being tacky and I've received several compliments on them.
My only complaint with the boots is that the laces did not come already laced into the boot and are quite tight (they don't lace all the way up). However, after wearing them for the past couple of weeks the laces are loosening up and I have been able to lace farther up the boot. And, like the other reviews mentioned the boots do run large so definitely order a size down.

I ordered a size down after reading reviews. I was worried b/c I have 2 different size feet (8 1/2 and 9). I ordered an 8 and it fits fine on both of my feet. I bought these particular boots b/c I wanted something that I could shovel snow in - degree weather (my neighborhood requires the sidewalk to be shoveled after every snow fall). I also wear them around town; I prefer to wear them instead of my normal shoes b/c alot of places do not shovel. They aren't exactly attractive, but they definitely keep my feet warm and dry!
I received these boots as a birthday present a few weeks ago and I finally had the chance to wear them in some pretty rainy weather this week. They are very comfortable to walk in! I followed the advice of LL Bean and ordered a size down from my regular shoe size because they do run big. My only disappointment with these boots is that the laces are too short. Perhaps because the shoe is also designed to be worn with the top flipped down showing the inside of the boot like in one of the pictures. I cannot lace the boots all the way up. But that's the only bad thing I can see so far!
