ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I ordered my boots and received them in a week, which was 5 business days. I was concerned about the size due to having slightly wide feet but went with all the suggestions of ordering a size smaller with medium width. They fit great. They are warm and I can't wait for the lake effect snow now with these boots.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I'm a college student in New England, and I wear these year round. Good for muddy, rainy weather in Spring and Fall, cool nights in the Summer, and perfect for snow. They're incredibly warm, definitely comparable to the famous sheepskin boots everybody wears, except they're waterproof! I bought a sherpa insole for them, which made them even warmer. They're stylish too- I am complimented almost every time I wear them.
I received these boots for Christmas 2009, and they are still in great condition. I wear them around campus, in the rain and snow, and for hiking.
I wear a true size 9, and bought these in a 9. They're a little big and wide, closer to a 9 1/2, but fit perfectly if you wear thick socks with them.
I am sold on these boots! Bean boots are the boots I'll be buying for the rest of my life, there is no comparison. They're worth every penny.
I ordered these for my upcoming trip to Yellowstone. I am a solid 7.5 and knowing I would need HEAVY socks and toe warmers I ordered an 8M. WOW. I honestly thought they sent me a men's size 8. They were so big I almost tripped over the front of them when standing up after trying them on. Like a child trying on Daddy's boots, off they came. Needless to say they are on their way back. To be fair, they did seem well constructed and I love the fact they are made in the USA! Along with this boot I also ordered the Bean Wildcat III laceup boot and it is a dream come true... go check out my review on them!
I work outdoors and was hoping these boots would be durable, warm work boots for winter. The shoe laces provided are too short to lace the boot all the way up. The top of the boot is cut narrow so there's a gap between the tongue of the boot and the sides of the boot. They run large, so order a size down. They are also narrow, so if you're planning on wearing big socks, the medium width won't do. I was not interested in a fashionable boot, just a warm, work boot. I returned them.
