ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Every year I order these boots and every year they are back ordered for months. This year, I placed my order early and I am happy I did. They are soo warm and comfortable. I can't wait to try them out in the 1st East Coast snow storm. I highly recommend these kicks!
I just received the boots. I'm sure they will be great in bad weather. They are form fitting boots and very comfortable. They remind me of my beloved combat boots.
I've wanted a pair of LL Bean boots for a long time and have never been able to fit any of them. I usually wear a 7.5 - 8 and bought these in the 7W and although they are a bit loose in the heel (a heavy sock helps) they otherwise fit well. The tongue is somewhat stiff but should get softer with wear. I concur with the other reviewers who wished the tongue had a gusset and there was a shearling inner sole.
These boots are warm and fairly lightweight. Much more flexible than my Sorel Cariboos. I usually wear a size 10 1/2 narrow, so, I bought size 10 narrow and they fit great. Arch support is very good with no need to put better insoles in.
