ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I purchased these boots over 25 years ago when I moved to snow country of Spokane Washington. Then I moved to real snow country Cleveland Ohio. I have been wearing them walking the dog, and building snow igloos with kids and never have I had to go inside because my feet were cold. They are warm when you need them to be and very comfortable. I have worn out my last pair and I only want another pair of boots for Christmas. I recommend them highly. You will never want any thing else.
The foot didn't offer as much toe room as I expected and there was too much room at the ankle. I would recommend this boot as a sturdy, heavy-duty option for someone else. My rating applies only to my fit experience.

other reviews stated that this boot ran a bit large. i wear an 8-8/12 and found the 8 too tight, even with my heaviest socks. the 9 seemed too wide and bulky so i tried the 9 AA (narrow) and they fit great. if you are in between sizes, i would suggest going a size up to give room for heavy socks or insoles and giving the narrow option a try. i look forward to breaking these in this winter!
