ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
These boots are just great! I purchased them for my daughter who goes to school in D.C. She walks everywhere and if it rains or snows the city is just a mess. These boots will keep her warm and dry. She loves them. They do run a little big but gives room for heavy socks or tucking in pants if necessary. Can not go wrong with these if you are looking for warm dry boots. Also can be rolled down if needed.
I was so excited about these boots...however, they are NOT what I would expect from Bean. The stitching is messy, the seams inside are at least a half inch thick and rub my feet horribly, and the laces are too short to even reach the top eyelet. Despite the fact that i have very slim calves, the boots will not close on top. The footbed liner is very flimsy and cheap. I am sending these back and ordering boots from another company.
I had read other reviews that said these boots ran really big. I took that info and bought a size smaller. I found them to be a hair too small so I ordered my actual size and they fit much better. They may be a hair too big but I would rather have that. Other than that -they appear to be of Bean quality.
