These were purchased as a high school graduation gift for a good friend who is attending college in the NorthEast. When visiting campus she was told that these are "THE" boots to have and that "Uggs aren't winter boots!" I was amused as I have a similar pair from many many years ago and I agree, these will keep your feet dry - and now with the lining they will be warm and comfy!
These boots are amazing. Incredibly warm and comfortable. I've seen some comments about sizing issues, but I ordered my regular size and the fit was perfect...with just enough room for a thicker sock option. Highly recommend.
Ordered late in season so with b/o time I did not get to use in severe weather. Don't have beefy legs, but found the wrap to be a little shy, where it overlaps tongue. Therefore I run out of laces if lacing to the top. Great boot otherwise, can't wait til they are fully broken in!
I didn't get these until April so I have not been outside in the snow with them yet. They seem a little wide but I think a sock will fit well. I am looking forward to them as I have the other shearling-lined boots and they are warm and comfortable, just not water proof. I also know that llbean stands behind their products so I fear not.
