ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
The first thing I noticed when I put these boots on is that they are a lot lighter in weight than I expected, in a good way. Based on old boots I had of a similar style, different brand, I thought they might be clunkier. I was pleasantly surprised. It does not take away from their durability or warmth. They are also very comfortable and I don't think they were too bad to break in. I did order them a full size down. They fit perfectly, even with thicker socks. My only regret is not ordering them sooner in the season. So I am looking forward to next winter to wearing them. Oh, they were on backorder and still came 3 weeks earlier than planned. I hope I have them for years to come.

I ordered these boots back in January when snow was thick on the ground but by the time I got them (they were majorly back-ordered) in March, the weather had already started to warm up so I figure mostly I bought these in anticipation of next year. From trying them on around the house, they are super warm and cozy and fit perfectly (also pretty light considering the thickness and sturdiness of the materials). I normally wear a size 6.5 or 7 and the size 6 was perfect! I can't wait to road test them come next winter!
This is the first time I've ever bought L.L. Bean boots, and they have absolutely surpassed my expectations. They are warm, soft, sturdy, and good for walking in. I wore them for the first four days straight after I got them.
I have size 6 feet, and I ordered a size 6, because they do not offer the boot in a size 5, I could not size down, as most people recommend. Although the boots run big, there is not an uncomfortable amount of spare room in the toe once I put on some thick socks, and the fact that they lace up the leg keeps them in place well.
