This is a very well made product, and perfect for my daily commute by train to downtown Chicago. It holds all my essential items (cell phone, keys, work papers, pens, etc.) and most important, my lunch! This bag is unlike most, because it has no dividers inside to take up space. It has a simple roomy interior (with great side pockets) for all my daily needs.
I loved this bag, but I ended up returning after the 3rd time I used it because the clasp would not stay closed. I may have overstuffed it- but isn't that the norm? The clasp kept coming undone all day when I was at the Mayo Clinic. I had to hold the bag under my arm instead of hanging over my shoulder so that nothing would fall out. The bag is beautiful though- and if you get a good clasp- you willl love it.
Very nice bag. Great construction and simple but smart features. I like that the bag strap does not have an extra pad for your shoulder. The simple leather strap is reinforced with nylon on the underside of it. The bag is made from nice quality leather that looks and feels great. I've had numerous compliments on its looks and style. I thought I would like the single strap with quick clip fastener but it is noisy and clumsy feeling when trying to clip it in place. Overall, great bag. Don't let the goofy clip keep you from buying it.
What a wonderful bag! I'm a teacher of both high school and college students. I'm always looking for a bag that looks professional and holds all of the things that a busy professional needs to carry around. I have gone without a briefcase for a year and a half because I couldn't find the right one. The search is over. This bag looks fantastic; the leather is very high quality. It looks compact (a plus), but its capacity is great. Right now it's stuffed, but it's holding an inch-thick binder, my laptop, and 50 ten-page papers, as well as my calendar, laptop cords, and a few personal items. Better yet--It doesn't look bulky from the outside. The strap fits across my shoulder or chest for a casual look, or I can hide it and use the handle when I walk into a staff meeting. Love it.
