I bought this bag as a Christmas gift for our daughter. She is a business professional who likes to have things at her fingertips and appreciates fine quality. She is also known to be a bit particular about quality! May I just say that she was thrilled and so pleased with this bag, and she has mentioned that she gets compliments on it as well. She is quite smitten with it, and I think is already trying to plant seeds for a brown one as a Christmas gift for 2010! We can't remember her being so pleased and verbally appreciative with a gift since she was a little girl! This is really a beautiful bag, very well made. It was a Christmas gift for my husband - fits his laptop and tons of extras (papers, plugs etc) without looking overstuffed or bulky....and it still has plenty of room. Very pleased with this purchase!
I bought this bag at least four years ago, and I absolutely love it! I "copied" a friend at work who had it, and she still has hers, too. It has held up really well -- looks like it did when I first got it, other than a few normal wear marks/scratches that just add to the look of the aged leather. It has great pockets, and the main storage area is big enough to carry what I need (usually a water bottle, lunch, and assorted papers to grade) to and from school. I'm considering buying a Dooney & Bourke purse made of a similar leather, and I just realized it's half the size and twice the price of this bag -- maybe LL Bean ought to start making leather purses, too! :-) At any rate, you can't go wrong with this bag!
