This briefcase is very professional. I am able to pack my size 10 women's shoes and my paperwork in my briefcase for my trek to and from work. Although is it a tight fit, this briefcase does work. The shoes and my engineering notebook fit upright. It is well constructed and perfect for a professional. There is no center divider which I did not want but there is a couple of large narrow pockets along the sides for whatever. As a woman I like to be prepared with extra stockings, extra eyeglasses ... even extra plastic bags. The strap is very comfortable and is adjustable.
The bag has ample room and all compartments as described. Excellent leather quality. The bag's weight is heavier than I anticipated-----fortunately the shoulder is designed for adjustment.
I just got this bag today and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I actually went to a local LL Bean store last Sunday looking for this bag. Unfortunately, there was nothing in stock, so I ordered it online without seeing it. Before doing so, I read all the reviews and the one comment that stuck with me was the metal lock coming undone. Well, the bag that I got looks to have this lock issue resolved. The leather is thick and supple. The size is perfect for my need. Looks like I will be using this for a long time.
