I ordered red and brown and ever since then I cannot stop wearing them. They are one of the softest fleece fabrics ever and also so fine and light. No itchy threads. both inside and outside very soft. I need these more so that I can wear them everyday. the only complaint (small complaint) is that these are not too figure fitting, so for me (5'4" 122Lbs), xs still is a bit large around my waste. I hope oned day LL Bean will make something that will fit around the waste line better for people like me who is not large built. But otherwise, this is the best fleece shirt I've ever bought.
Proscheaply made, sheds terribly, dumpy fit, sleeves too short, unattractive color
I received this as a Christmas gift. The fit is not that great, sleeves are too short, kinda looks dumpy as far as fit. The green color could be less harsh. I figured this was OK enough to wear to work, as it was a gift and I had nothing invested.
Got home from work, I drive for a living, no hard labor, took off my brand new coat, and the inside lining of my coat now has a layer of green fleece (see photo). This is the first time this fleece top has ever been worn.
This item is horrible, I'm surprised at the high reviews it has received. But others have had this same shedding problem, I noticed. On the bright side, it's one dud out of the many quality LL Bean items I own. It won't stop me from shopping here, I just hope I don't receive another item of this quality again. Sadly, this pullover will probably end up in the trash, I don't want to give it to charity and make it someone else's problem. Now I will get some packing tape and a lint brush and go clean the mess off my coat.
