Ordered the 1/4 zip after borrowing my daughter's hooded one. We are both slim and I find the fit just right. The sleeves are long enough for me even though I am 5'7". Perfect for pre and post workouts. Love the pocket for keys. I plan to wear underneath my down vests when the cold weather arrives. Will order a hooded version for myself when LLBean makes it in a deeper shade of red.
I brought the true navy in medium but I wouldn't consider it navy - it's blue. I like the cut and the lightweight fabric - I can wear it alone or with a tee underneath. I would have given it 5 stars, but I noticed that it is shedding even after I washed it. But I liked it enough to buy another one in warm pink.
I absolutely love the feel of the fitness fleece material--it is so soft yet not too heavy. I have not found its match anywhere else. That being said, I cannot give this pullover the highest review because of its styling. The sleeves are way too short. I am only 5'6 and wear a small but I need to order a medium just to get the sleeves over my wrist bones. Even the medium still shows my wrist bones when I am driving, typing etc. Also, the body of the medium is too big but I have to choose between sleeve length and overall size. Longer sleeves have been in style with all of the other activewear companies I frequently purchase for several years now--it is time for LLBean to get with the times and update the styling of some of their tried and true classics like the fitness fleece. I know they came out with a "younger" more contemporary line but I does not include the LLBean pieces we all love and buy year after year. Why not update the styling on these pieces and maybe keep a "classic" fit for those that are older and are attached to the old fit? I have never written an LLBean review before but I am close to discontinuing my long history with LLBean and this prompted me to write a review.
I love this pull over! Very comfy and easy to wear. I would recommend ordering a size larger then your normal though. I am usually a size 1X but the 2X fits better and more flattering.
