I love this fleece top. The fleece material gets softer after you wash it and it's nice to be able to put on something in fleece that is not so bulky, but still warm.
I bought 2 of these in October. Look good and nice and soft on the OUTSIDE. My problem is with the quality on the wrong side. After 4 washings the inside of the shirt began to pill and it has only gotten worse. Both shirts completely pilled from top to bottom (on the inside) which makes them uncomfortable to wear unless you have on a long-sleeve t-shirt underneath. Let me add that I wash these on the gentle cycle and hang them to dry. I'm surprised to get such poor quality fleece from LLBean.
I purchased this item to go with the vest. The sleeves around the armpit area were excessively large. It bunched up once combined with the vest. I ordered it in black and it was so faded, it looked like i had washed it for years. Very unsatisfied, so it was retruned.
This is the second fitness fleece I have purchased. They wash great without any pilling. It keeps me warm enough on a 40 degree day with only a turtleneck underneath. Loose enough for easy movement but not bulky. Love the small pocket on the arm, cute as well as functional.
