I've been ordering this style for years and, as of this purchase, it looks like LL Bean chose a different garment manufacturer. The pullover is now made in a different country than before and the sizing is way off. I ordered a small and not only is the body part huge but the arms would fit better on a person who is 6' tall. The quality of the garment is still there but order at least one size smaller than you'd normally wear.
Living in the Pacific Northwest, I own a lot of fleece items. This pullover is one of the best I have purchased. It is soft and good quality. Lots of great color choices (I got the sugarplum). The fit is great for exercising, but stylish enough for around town.
i own 11 of this same model in a variety of colors. i have bought similar appearing fleece but have been disappointed with all but the llbean model. it is so comfortable; allows for cooling or warming with the zip, washes beautifully and has the perfect fit for me. i hope this model continues on into perpetuity. also i do get compliments on it even though it is casual.
