I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I have to tell you this is absolutely the best fleece for layering I have ever owned It is perfect in above 50 degree temps and is nice for layering when it is cooler; I love the length too..I am 5'6 and bought a large and it is the perfect length for me for under my ski jacket and just for wearing around. I will be buying a few more :)
Absolutely love this! I recommended all my friends to buy it, and sent a couple to my mother in the UK, everybody raves about them. I have 4 right now, my favorite is the black, it goes with everything. Its great for year round, just add a vest or another fleece on top of this one in winter or throw this over your shoulders in air conditioned places in the summer. Its shape is flattering, it is soft, well made, and comfortable.
I'm not a fitness freak. I'm about 30 pounds overweight with a flabby stomach. Yet, the cut of this pullover is slimming on me. And the fabric feels awesome. I'd like to have one in every color.
I decided to treat myself to a new fleece, so knowing the LL Bean reputation, I opted for this one. I was sadly very disappointed with this top. I don't consider this fleece at all. It is extremely thin material, more like a t-shirt rather than fleece. Beautiful color (I chose deep violet) and seems to be well made, but definitely too thin and will NOT keep me warm through a typical New England winter. Sadly, this top will be returned.
