Just as another reviewer noted, this year's offering in this fitness fleece is oddly proportioned. I am not a gorilla, so the extra-long arms are not flattering, nor is the new longer length that hits the widest part of my hips. And, for us shorter gals, where is the petite size choice? I did not send it back, but probably should have.
This is the best fleece I have ever worn! I buy new ones every other year or so when my old ones start to look worn! They are very flattering and I wear them under my labcoat at work! They are not bulky at all and are very true to size. I retire my old ones to run in during the colder weather in the spring and fall. I wear a medium in most all shirts and sweaters, and these fit true to form. This time I bought the matching vest in mallard too!! Also the best vest ever! Not bulky and stretches as you move! Great combination! I now own 5 fleece in various colors!!! What more can I say?!
The fabric is lovely, but the fit is still very wide, and quite short. If you are taller than 5'5", you will find it too short to give good coverage on your back, particularly when active. I am 5'10" and slim, and it was too wide and too short, allowing far too much air in, making it pointless. For a more petite, fuller figure woman, it would be great.
This fleece was SO much nicer than I had expected. I have owned so many fleeces from large name brands and this one puts them all to shame! I love the color, quality, style and price....I mean what more could you ask for.
