I have five of these pullovers and they are not all created equal. They are all the same size, but 2 don't fit quite as well as the other 3. Also, those same 2 have seemed to pill when the other 3 did not. I still think they are great, but perhaps manufacturers were switched. The 2 that cause the problem are the most recent purchases.
This fleece top is light weight and comfortable. However, the shirt looks old after just a few washes (lots of pills especially the inside). What irks me the most is that the lower part of the sleeves (below the elbows) becomes and remains wrinkled after wearing the shirt just for a short while. In fact, you can see the wrinkles in one of the photos online (the one where the model sits on a boat) except the wrinkles are much worse.
I have a wardrobe of lightweight fleece pullovers and vests from two different sellers that I wear frequently, year-round, all of them but a black vest in bright colors. Two of them are this shirt, and they haven't held up very well. The material has pilled badly after washing and wearing, both inside and out, especially inside. The colors have lost their vibrancy, despite the fact that I'm careful about how I sort and wash laundry. Sorry to say they're headed for the drop-off box.
I ordered this fleece after my husband ordered the men's version and loved it. It is affordable and comfortable. The lightweight fleece is warm without being bulky. I plan on taking it on a hiking trip to Yellowstone this summer for a layering piece. My only complaint is that it is not as fitted as I would like. I ordered the XS and it is a little roomier than I prefer (I am 5'2", 95 lbs.). I wish it came in petite sizes! But I still love this fleece and would recommend it.
