We recently returned home after traveling to Southern Maine, and Nova Scotia. As we passed by Freeport on our way to Bar Harbor, we stopped into LLBean mainly so I could find something a little warmer. My North Carolina "fall" clothes weren't cutting it! I bought this shirt and fell in love with it on the trip. It's great for low-60's weather on it's own, but it's really light-weight, so if you had to wear a coat over it, it wouldn't feel bulky at all. It hardly absorbs any moisture, so it dries really quickly on a hanger. The cut is really flattering, with the seaming details. I just bought another one in a different color here on-line-- I love it THAT much!
I have several for myself and given them as gifts. They just keep getting better. Whle still a great value at $24.50, was even better at $19.50...Perfect over a t-shirt, shell - great for traveling since you can stuff them in a travel tote. One of my favorite LL Bean items ever.
I love the fitness fleece and own several. However, a recent restyling has resulted in a longer length sleeve, meaning I have to roll them up one turn. Given that I am fairly short by today's standards at 5'4", I would appreciate it if this were also available in petite.
This is one of my favorite LL Bean items and I intend to buy more colors. It's warm, lightweight, and washes well. Haven't put anything in the mini-pocket on the sleeve but it would be okay for some bills and lip balm.
