I was excited to see these shirts in the catalog -- I love a lightweight fleece for year-round wearing, and the colors are yummy! Unfortunately, the fabric is so thin, it wrinkles -- not what I expect in a fleece. It looked sloppy, right from the moment I put it on. I was disappointed and returned the two I'd purchased. Of course, LLBean, as always, was gracious about my refund!
I bought two (one black and one lime to alternate the 'look') of these fabulous pieces to layer under my downhill skisuit (under my jacket and over my silk long underwear). And that has been the winning combination to combat the windchill on our outstanding Canadian ski hills. After 35 years as a downhill skiier I have finally found the right item at the right price. Kudos to LL Bean.
The fleece is really light weight, soft and cuddly warm. It's perfect for slipping on after work on a chilly spring evening. I now have two of them and would love to have one in all colors!
I ordered this fleece quarter zip but did end up returning as it was not styled well for my bodytype. Unfortunately it was a bit too form fitting for me and the larger size made sleeves and length unacceptable. I was disappointed I was not able to keep it as it had a soft comfortable fabric and was lighter than some of my other winter fleeces with a very reasonable price
