LL Bean Fitness Fleece zip necks are my favorites. For travel, to occasionally sleep in (specially on overnight plane trips, etc. They are also nicely fashionable, dress up with a string of small airport purchased pearls, or dress down.
I gave this one 4 stars as the black item is a bit plain - and it is NOT deep black, it is a lighter black color. The lovely zipper tabs on the sleeve pocket and at neck zipper are usually slightly different than the basic color, which is a nice stylish touch. On this zip neck the pull-tabs are boring black. So I decided to be creative ! - A slip of paper under the tab - very see through peach-pearl nail polish in crafty hand - and after a couple of layers here is a stylish T-neck that I get compliments on. I ordered both the full zip up and the quarter zip. I love them and have others in my closet. Light enough to wear under a jacket. They pack and travel well.
I love this fleece, bought it a size bigger than I usually wear so it wouldn't be too tight. It has plenty of room so I could probably have gotten my usual size and been fine. I love it already though so am going to keep it. It is the right length and didn't shrink when I washed it. It is VERY light weight (not sure if I'd wear it outside on a windy cooler day...might wear their thicker one instead on those days)..but I wanted this to wear around the house when I am chilly, without being too warm. It is exactly what I was looking for! I got black, may order an additional color later...wish there was a dark green option :)
