I was disappointed in this fleece. It is much thinner and, therefore, not as warm as the one I previously purchased from LL Bean a few years ago. That one still looks brand new, and keeps me warm and toasty.
I have several of these and in different sizes depending on the weather and what I wear underneath...I also buy these for gifts and everyone loves them too...
This is a very light fleece pullover. I bought it hoping for winter warmth but often must wear a heavy shirt under or another top over it to be warm indoors. The sizing is very good. I almost wish there was a little more detail on the pullover. For these reasons, I would not recommend to a friend.
This is an excellent substitute for a sweater or sweatshirt. Lightweight, but very warm. Soooo comfortable. Sizing is generous (more boxy than than the fitness fleece jacket, which I also love), so you can layer a shirt underneath. The fleece is thin, but really nice. Inside is sort of slick, not fluffy - makes it easier to wear, slides nicely on whatever you're wearing underneath it. I would definitely buy again - and probably will when new colors come out.
