I must have 30 of these in 1X & 2X. They pill badly after many washings (I practically LIVE in these all winter long- They're kind of my "Uniform") so they need replacing. I'm ok with that since I like the versatility of the style. I can zip it up if I'm chilly or unzip if I'm warm. But now L. L. Bean has seen fit to totally discontinue ALL plus sizes in the quarter zip and only leave us the full zip jacket. That just isn't acceptable as that zipper part puckers when you sit down and it just doesn't pass for a top. They don't have much imagination when it comes to colors either. PLEASE BRING BACK PLUS SIZES. Not everyone is a size Medium.
These pullovers are perfect - love to wear them for dog walks and other activities - including just lounging on the couch. They add nice breathable insulation under either a light or heavy jacket, but are equally great just on their own (looking better than your average sweatshirt in my opinion). The fit true to size and they launder well. The price is right and so I bought 3: teal, fuchsia, and black. Highly recommend!
As others have said this pullover is thin. Paper thin. It will not keep you warm. Thin as a tshirt. Pricey, however I used my $10 gift card so it was not too bad. It is so soft and comfortable. I ordered the blue and it is a beautiful shade of blue. True to size. I would order another one.
I ordered this fleece because it was one of the few quarter zip fleece pullovers. When I received it I was shocked that it really wasn't a true fleece, it was a bonded fabric which is only fleece on the outside. This was not mentioned in the description of the garment, It was so light and flimsy that I weighed it on my kitchen scale. It was 5 oz in size medium, my other fleece is 10 oz. The color does not match the color showed on line, dark fuchsia is actually light fuchsia, and the fit is very full, not the close fit expected in a fleece. I will return this item and am very disappointed.
