considering my past experiences with l l bean, which were very satisfying,i'm a little disappointed in this top. it is very thin & the inside is not fleece. it's a little pricey for what you get.
This had been my favorite item from LL Bean for many years. I have about six of these in my wardrobe. The sizing has become far too big for me, however. An XS used to fit me perfectly, but in the last three years, the cut of the fleece has become much more roomy. The XS is definitely not an XS anymore. Please make an XXS if you are going to change how your clothing fits. Please stop penalizing us small girls.
OK, so I LIVE in these type of fleece jackets in the winter. I hesitate to call this one a jacket, but that's a good thing. I would describe it as more of a sweatshirt. It is perfect for layering. Size is true to size for me. If you want a super warm fleece, then look at other options. LL Bean has many heavier fleece you can choose from. Everyone should have a fleece in this weight!
I am sorry the llbean has made these bigger than they did two years ago. The extra smalls used to fit, and I still wear them, but the current ones are too big. Could you please restore normal sizing or make XXS? Size inflation is hard for those of us that wear a size 2 or smaller. Otherwise I like these lightweight pullovers. Bring back the cute winter patterns!
