A staple for Montana!
PostedOctober 26, 2012
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, colorful
My mother and I live in these from fall to spring. I think we own six between the two of us. She is 56, I'm 36. They are warm but breathable and lightweight. You will want a light tee or cami underneath but that's a great way to add another color to your outfit. They are gently fitted so they are flattering. We love that they come in a range of cheerful pretty colors. The price is unbeatable.

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, yeah! pill free
Thank goodness the inside isn't pilling and tuning to sandpaper. The old fabric became so pilly inside that I couldn't stand it against my skin. Wore the pullovers inside out, looked weird but felt much better. Love the new fabric MUCH better!

Runs Small, Shrinks
PostedOctober 24, 2012
Prosruns small, prone to shrinkage
While I love the weight, the variety of colors, and the feminine style and of this pullover, I have to knock off two stars because of its fit and performance.
In most Bean clothes, I'm a true medium. If I were to wear this fleece by itself (but wouldn't because like others I don't like the nylony-feeling interior) I think that it would fit reasonably well. Over a tee, however, it's just slightly too tight of a fit.
I've noticed that this is not the wash-and-wear fleece that it's supposed to be. I have the jacket made out of the same fabric; it's shrunk considerably, especially in the sleeve length. I think the only way to avoid shrinkage is to skip the dryer and hang it. When hung, it does dry quickly, but that's not quite the no fuss and bother product that a fleece should be.
Bean, my suggestion: Keep the style but rethink the fabric and the sizing.

Not like the Original fleece
PostedOctober 18, 2012
Prosnot the same...
I have purchased many of these fleeces over the years and LOVED them. In the last two years the fabric was changed, not the same- not as soft and comfortable. Little thicker and stiff. Disappointed. Hope Beans brings back the original style/fabric, otherwise I will have to find something else.
