I bought two of these fleece pullovers about 6 months ago. The arms shrank about four inches and also the torso. I look like an ape in them now - with my wrists all exposed. The color was nice, but very disappointed in the quality. Returning both.
I purchased this fleece on sale, it is cute but the down side is that it did shrink a little shorter after drying and now I have to wear a layer under it. I am bigger on top so may not be an issue for everyone. Even though it did shrink a bit I still really like it and have ordered it in peach sherbet. I just won't toss this one in the dryer. And even though I like the shirt I'm still only giving it three stars due to the shrinkage, which I see others have had the same issue.
I have shopped frequently at LL Bean over the years. As advertised, this fleece pullover is light, warm, and attractive. I purchased two colors to match the quilted vest. The first time I wore one fleece, it shed all over my seat belt and the dark gray interior of my car. Both colors shed and then pilled. Although I like the weight of the pullover, I am not happy with the wear. I should have returned both fleeces immediately! Not the usual LL Bean quality.
I love these. I have a least 10 of them.... But beware, they definitely shrink! They always seem way too big on arrival, but after I wash and dry them a few times they are just right. The ones I've bought in my smaller size always end up too small after washing. My friends have found the same.
