Purchased as birthday present for my mom who is in a nursing home. She loves it. Its fits well and launders very well, very little shrinkage or fading.
I have a couple of fitness fleece tops I purchased a few years ago and love them. Last winter I bought a couple more but have been very disappointed in them. The fabric is fuzzier, not in a good way. As another reviewer mentioned, the tops shed terribly, especially onto my seatbelt. There is purple fleece fuzz all over my car and other coats. I'm wondering if this fall's fabric is the same or has been improved. If I had thought to save the receipts on the two newer fleeces, I would return them in a heartbeat.

I ordered 3 of these in different colors because my old fitness fleece quarter-zips had finally worn out and they have been a staple in my wardrobe. The sizing is a bit larger through the body, and I love the fact that the sleeves are longer (the older fleece seemed to get shorter and shorter in the sleeves.) I usually order a small and would probably try the x-small if I ordered again. The material, however, is a big disappointment. The backing of the fleece is slick and shiny-like. I've always been amazed at how comfortable fleece can be, even though it's not the natural fiber I prefer. I didn't think it would matter much, but after wearing the pieces I realize this new fleece fabric is less comfortable...like it's not breathing at all. I'm going to have to return them...but that's why I like to buy from LLBean: they guarantee your satisfaction with the product.
