I am very dissapointed that I will be returning the ivory fitness fleece I just purchased. The material was very thin and cheap. I have bought these in the past expecting the same good quality, not so this time. LLBEAN please use the quality materials originally used in the past on this product. The new version is not LLBEAN quality and gets a thumbs down.
I love the fitness fleece." It is an awesome weight for someone that is looking for a light weight fleece. It is great for your daily workouts, and equally awesome for everyday use. I have 3 of them and they cycle through the wash every week. I do wish they didn't pill, but they are still an awesome product.
I have several fitness fleeces from the last two years that are still in great shape. When I ordered more this year, I was disappointed that they changed the quality of the fleece. The new ones have a thin, cheap feel and do not hold their shape as well as my others. The shape is not as flattering. I am very disappointed in the new material and hope they change back to what they were using last year.
I recently bought two of these lovely shirts in an XL because I had bought the jacket in that size and it had worked out well. The Golden Cider color was a bit big, but okay (love the color, too). The Aurora Purple XL (lovely lavender color) was huge! Not sure why the sizing would vary so much, but I'm going to order another Aurora Purple in a Large to compare and keep the XL because it's so comfy and there is room to spare for layering with a tee, turtleneck, or even with another fleece pullover.
I highly recommend these shirts and would love to have more. They are versatile and look good under a nice sweater coat with leggings and boots, with a vest, or just by themselves with jeans. They are warm without being stifling, super soft, and wash up well with no shrinkage or pilling.
Petites be forewarned that the sleeves are very long; I'm a petite and these are not offered in a petite size. This isn't an issue in the fit generally, it's just that you'll have to fold up the cuffs if you have short arms like I do.
