Good light weight warmth by itself or for layering

I have one of these shirts from a couple of years ago. It is more fitted. I expected the new one to fit the same way. It was so large and full that I had to go down a size. I wish that there was more quality control to insure that the sizing remains true. My theory is that it has to do with the difference the the countries of origin. L.L. Bean, please oversee & coordinate the sizing consistency of your products. I love your items, but this has happened to me before (the oxford striped shirts). It makes it difficult to find the right fit, causing lots of returns and sometimes it doesn't work out at all after all of the time and trouble!
I love this fleece, but I am very disappointed in my latest order. I chose the color shown as "aurora purple." What was delivered today is pink (though labeled purple). I realize that shopping online poses some risk -- colors display differently on individual monitors -- but this one isn't even in the ballpark. I will return it.
I purchased one of these several years ago. Although it is soft, light weight and comfortable it does pill on the inside. I wear it often in the winter inside to keep warm. Besides the pilling my only complaint is that it doesn't come in a petite size.
