Not durable
PostedAugust 12, 2016
I love the way these sheets fell - crisp yet smooth. However, they are thin and rip in a way I have never experienced with sheets. We've had big rips happen when making the bed or just pulling up the sheets over us. For how expensive they are, they just don't hold up - I've never had this problem with cheap sheets. We called in and had a fitted sheet replaced and now the flat sheet ripped. I'm just looking for a durable and comfortable sheet and I'm willing to pay for that level of quality. I just don't think this fits the bill.

Fabric has changed - Strange chemical odor
PostedJuly 1, 2016
I purchased 2 sets of these sheets years ago, and the percale was thick and crisp. They've worn very well, so I recently ordered another set, even though I'd read the negative reviews.
Well I should have listened. Out-of-the-box the new version of these sheets has a slick coating with a strange chemical smell. Washed them several times, and the smell went away, but the surface didn't change. Made me suspicious that they might contain polyester. Also, these sheets are much thinner than the original. Going back.

OK Sheets
PostedJune 28, 2016
We purchased the cream colored sheets for our Queen bed. I washed them twice before sleeping on them. We've washed them several more times since then. These sheets are ok. I'm used to Jersey Knit sheets, which are very soft and conform to you sleeping on your side. These LLBean sheets are good quality and fit the pillow top mattress well. They do make "noise" as you move around in them, much like hotel sheets. They aren't the softest sheets I've been on, but they are better than standard sheets. Overall, they aren't bad and I think they will last a while....unlike the Jersey sheets.

Scratchy
PostedJune 3, 2016
Crisp, beautiful blue color, generous pockets on fitted sheet.
But sheets are scratchy ! Washed them five times trying to get them softer. Absolutely cannot sleep on them.
Terribly disappointed,
Have loved LL Bean flannel sheets, but these Pima cotton percale ones are rough !
Will return them
