Very comfortable sheet. Fits our king size bed with pillowtop well. Very smooth feel. Had the sheet for two weeks now and very happy with purchase. Found the web site confusing though. Picture shows a sheet set but you have to order the fitted sheet and pillow cases seperately.
This review is for the cotton percale solid color sheet. Had been searching for cotton percale sheets and was thrilled to find and order these. The fabric is great, soft, cool, crisp & comfy. However the top of the top sheet and the edge of the pillowcases all get terrible deep creases that will not go away even with serious ironing. It appears the fabric is not being sewn correctly. The wrinkles are driving me crazy. Regrettably, I will not be ordering more of these until this flaw is corrected.
These sheets feel good and the hemstich is pretty, BUT why do they now wrinkle so badly at the hems? These are not just wrinkles, but pleats that can't be removed even by ironing! Has some sewing process changed? This didn't used to happen. I'm going to have to think hard before I buy any more of these flat sheets and pillowcases. Can anyone tell me how to get out and keep out the hemline wrinkles? Will they be better with more washings?
After buying many sets of expensive sheets and tossing them because they washed horribly or pilled, I decided to try L L. Bean's as I know they stand behind any of their products and knew I didn't have a thing to lose.
I am extremely pleased with the quality and how they wash. I've had them for several months but didn't want to be too quick to review until I determined how well they held up. When I remove them from the dryer, I press them out a bit with my hands and they look great.
They are terrific, soft, and heavy duty. I find myself washing them and putting them right back on the bed which tells me I need another set.
Yes, these were a no-brainer. For those who are dissatisfied, return them with no questions asked. That is just of the many beauties of L. L.. Bean!
