I have purchased two sets of these sheets, and while they feel good (at least initially), I'm disappointed by the colors.
Mid blue -- got this color first. It's much lighter than it looks on the website and was too feminine for me. I returned it.
Antique pine -- exchanged mid blue for this color, and it's sort of a yellowish green and not as subdued as the picture. I'm going to keep them because I don't want to deal with/pay for the return again.
They're a bit big for my mattress and standard pillows but I haven't washed them yet. I imagine they'll shrink a bit. They're pretty crisp at first, but they feel good, and I'm hoping they'll soften up a bit after washing.
I love these sheets and bought several recently. However, I was disappointed with this one, in Mid Blue. Although the photo looks like a darker blue on your computer, Mid Blue is a medium blue. My attached photo which isn't very good (too yellow) was shot on a pure white bedspread. On the right is a navy blue sheet that I was hoping to match. In the middle is the Mid-blue sheet. On the left is a Light Blue percale sheet bought previously, which was truer to the color shown on website. I should have listened to previous reviewers!
The first time we ordered they had to search all the stores to find one Kings sheet in white. Would order again but it is not available (again) for three weeks. No inventory, no sales
These sheets are the best! I have bought a lot of excellent sheets from LL Bean, and these are even better than the others. These sheets are silky smooth and I love the way they feel against my skin. I am indulging myself by buying a second set!
