I really love this tote - it is cute and has enough room to carry my lunch, an umbrella and all the other stuff I drag to work every day. The size medium is good, but now I'm wishing I had ordered the larger size.
This is a good-looking, sturdy bag that seems well made. Unfortunately, I sent it back because I needed something big enough to hold a computer but that I could also bring to job interviews. It didn't look quite polished enough for that purpose.
Purchased 4 of these, 1 brown and 3 black. Beautiful bag. Leather is top drawer. The straps or handles are not nice. looks like bonded leather to a piece of grograin fabric. The leather on the handles doesnt even look like the bag at all !!! But the main problem is the bag itself. The bag is very heavy. Maybe this is a problem with full grain leather. I have fibromyalgia and this bag is just too heavy. My daughters called and told me they could not accept because of heaviness. Heavy but beautiful (except for handles ??? Why would a manufacture company put such handles on such an otherwise beautiful bag ???
I bought this bag to use as a purse. It's bigger than I expected although the dimensions are listed - once the bag arrived, it holds way more than expected. The leather and craftmanship is outstanding and I am more than satisfied with this product. LL Bean is awesome and I'm always happy with their products and return policies whenever something doesn't work out. This bag will last a LONG time guarneteed.
