Great size. Sturdy, soft leather (NICE!!). Disappointed in the color. The brown was more an orangy brown. I returned the brown and replaced it with the black.
I returned this bag because, unfortunately, it wasn't large enough for my needs. The leather is very nice quality and I wanted to love it for that reason. It fit my laptop just fine, but I knew I wouldn't have enough room for binders/books that I tote home from the office frequently - still on the lookout for a Bean shoulder bag big enough for all my stuff!

I have owned a small brown leather messenger tote for about 8 years. It is one of my favorite bags - large to carry stuff for three kids, yet small enough that it looks like a purse. I bring it to work all the time and have received many compliments. The quality is amazing - the leather still looks great without much maintenance. I just purchased the black leather messenger tote and I think I will love it just as much.
