Large, easy to read face which glows pleasantly in the dark. The spin dial for the alarm setting is a nice feature. The alarm itself is not too loud or strident. Batteries are also easy to install. The product is the quality you would expect from Big Ben!
I returned the clock because it had a hideous green shading around the numbers that didn't show up in the catalog; it has since been shown with the coloring.
A great looking clock, though not a very loud alarm. Even though it's got a battery, because it's analog, I guess, the alarm has to be set every night. I returned it.
This clock's appearance is delightful.It is quiet and therfore great for sleeping. However, I was disappointed that I cannot see the time in the dark. I had assumed that the description of "luminescent hands" meant that they would shine in the dark, but this is not so. This is the only reason that I did not give the clock a five star rating.
