Purchased this clock in celidon and love the look.The only problem is the luminescent hands.They only stay bright for a couple of minutes.If you need to look at the clock during the night it is black.
I am a clock snob. I love clocks. I love old clocks. This retro clock has a pleasant tick. It has a large face with easy-to-read numbers (without reading glasses). I keep it in my bathroom, as an antique clock would be troubled by the steam and humidity. This is a very nice clock.
I bought this clock as well as the Big Ben clock in Antique White. The white one is great and I love it, but the silver one was broken when I received it. I haven't returned it yet, but I'm sure that l.l.bean will be great about exchanging it, as they have always been super about things like that. If it hadn't been broken when I received it, I'd have given it 5 stars.
