The alarm time is hard to get accurate, I needed to set it more than 15 minutes different than what I wanted to get the right ring time. The faces of the clock appears to be made of paper unlike the painted metal face of the original Westclox model I own. The back of the clock requires a screwdriver for battery changes.
Very cheaply made. Shortly after purchase, clock started to wobble on its base. Tonight I tried to set the alarm and the pull button fell off and into the clock. Alarm is very faint, hard to see time at night. Color was great, though
Having grown up with Big Bens, I love the look. It's cute, but it's supposed to have luminescent hands. Mine doesn't. Since it's probably been in a box for quite some time, I'm going to give it a chance to glow.
We thought that with the "Big Ben"name this would have proved to be as good or better than the earlier models but this clock has a ring that is barely discernible or audible to wake anyone up. Will be returning it as it is not worth the price we paid.
