We haven't hit the full freeze of winter here yet, but live in NYC where it gets quite cold and I'm outside schlepping kids around on public transportation all winter. This is simple and warm. Should do the trick this winter.
This is a reasonably priced jacket for winter. It doesn't feel bulky and is nice to wear to sporting events. I do wish the cuffs looked more "stylish" for want of a better word. You cannot tighten the cuff to fit your wrist and it falls over or covers my hands rather than being stopped at the wrist. The pockets are at a good location and the hood can be adjusted with a velcro strap on the back of it if you don't want it falling over your eyes.
