I love my ultra warm jacket! The jacket is attractive, warm and lightweight. I was hesitant to buy the dark raspberry color, but I am so glad I did. I love the color and get so many compliments on how great the color looks on me. The coat fits true to its size and has enough room to wear a sweater under it. I teach and have to go outside with the kids on the playground regardless of the temperature and this coat protects me nicely from wind, snow and cold temperatures. I like that it has a removeable hood. I would highly recommend this jacket to others.
I ordered this coat for frequent trips back east. It fit great through the shoulders and chest, but was very big around the middle and bottom. Nothing to keep cold wind out! A draw cord would probably help, either around the waist or the hem. I am slim, 5'7", 125 lbs., but not skinny. An extra small would be way too small in the shoulders and chest. Quality and workmanship are great - wish coat would have fit better.

I love this coat! Works just perfect for me for the cold MI winters. I wear a L but got an XL so to wear bulkier underneath. Fit's a little large, but I like it, so I can move. It's very comfortable and warm. Keeps me toasty in the minus wind chills. Have not had a problem at all with the wind coming up the bottom of the jacket. The sleeves fit perfect, not too short, and I like that the banding inside is not too tight or too loose. I like the pockets, they are deep enough and also the material is nice inside, keeps hands warm when needed. Snow and rain have rolled right off the fabric, I don't get wet at all. Fabric has worn well so far. I did get the white,and have gotten so many compliments. So far has not 'attracted' dirt as whites can do. Did spill coffee on it and it washed well. I didn't use the tennis ball in the dryer with it and it came out just fine. I like the hood, it keeps the wind away from my head/face. Only thing I don't care for is the Velcro tabs on the hood, wish they could be attached somewhere out of the way, when not closing the hood up snug. It's lightweight, not bulky at all. I don't get over heated. Other than that I love this coat! I don't want to take it off once I'm inside, it's so cozy. I wanted to buy another, in the longer version, but am moving to California in a few weeks and won't need it. Wish I would have had this coat for all the past MI winters I've frozen in!

I needed a very warm jacket for the North East Winters, with a fur-trimmed hood; but it had to be light weight. I walk over 5 miles a day and heavy coats weigh down my shoulders making it very uncomfortable. I wanted to try down, but the price usually was too high. I saw this coat and loved the looks of it and the price was reasonable so I decided to give it a try. When it came I was delighted with the light-weight, but I have to say I was a bit concerned about its warmth. I didn't need to be. This coat is great! Its amazing how warm your whole body feels when your head is toasty warm! And this coat does the trick. With a light hat on under the hood and the neck closures snapped my husband and I walked 5.5 miles when the temp was hovering at zero and I was not cold at all. The body is very warm - you really just need a mid weight sweater underneath. The only thing I will say is that there is no drawstring in the middle (which I personally don't like anyway) but some people may like it for a snugger fit. Great looking coat and warm as toast. Highly recommend. I got the paperwhite and it is gorgeous! I ordered it in my normal size small - it fit perfect.
