I wore the coat to walk the dog at -5F. With all the layers I usually use underneath a coat, I was warm enough for 45 minutes walking. Weaknesses: the fabric finish feels cheap (slippery, shiny acetate feel), the cloth band at the wrists is loose for me, cold air does seep in.

I love my new ultra warm jacket. It's warm and lightweight. So far it has been great for the weather this winter. If you are looking for a winter jacket thats great...this is the one to buy!
I returned my coat. I didn't care for the styling of this coat. Especially the extra large velcro pieces next to the collar. I not only didn't care for the look, but thought that I might have an issue with my hair and the velcro. I also didn't like that there was no inside sleeve cuff. I get cold easily and prefer a coat that keeps the wind out. Other than those two things, I thought it seemed put together well, and loved the color. I had ordered Chocolate.
Living near Lake Ontario, the winter winds are wet and cold. I need a warm and lightweight jacket to keep the freezing temps at bay! This jacket has it all. It fits true-to-size. It is lightweight and really keeps me warm. I chose the blue color and it is a great choice. I recommend this jacket to anyone who lives in an area that has frequent below freezing temps.
