ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Bought this for my daughter who is extremely tall and thin and the arm length was perfect as was the body length. She says it is the most comfortable and warm jacket yet!
I am always reluctant to purchase a coat without trying it on, but with LL Bean's easy return policy, I thought I'd give it a try. This jacket is exactly what I wanted. It's hip length, so you don't have to worry about the cold sneaking underneath when you raise your arms! It's down filled, so it's nice and warm without being heavy and I anticipate it being perfect for the outdoor sports I purchased it for! I'm currently in Florida, so I haven't been able to test it out, but I'm quite confident I will be very pleased when I get to Maine next month!

Thank goodness they haven't changed the shape, or, fit, of this very practical jacket. I have this jacket in five colors, and wear them all! Unfortunately, the new fits are not practical for older, active women. This jacket is still one of the best, warm, fits well, true to size, and can be worn over other layers of clothes. I still give it a thumbs up!!

I almost sent this jacket back, but could not find an acceptable alternative in stock. Part of the problem was the color. I expected a brighter aqua color. It's a powder blue. Customer comments suggested that a smaller size would fit better. I normally wear a L, so got a M, and although it fits, it is a little snug across the shoulders. It's still large enough to fit a sweatshirt and vest under though. It is most definitely warm. The radiant body heat can be felt in the lining for a long time after the coat is shed. It would also be helpful if the cell phone pocket were higher, so you didn't have to mostly unzip the jacket to get to it. Not a bad coat, but I'll buy a different one next year.
