What a great jacket for the money! I wasn't sure if this jacket was going to be warm, but it is. I love it!!! I followed the size chart and it fits great.
First of all size, I wuold normally have ordered a LG, but got a Med instead. I am 5'8" and currently weigh about 165.. the fit is GREAT! with room for a hoodie under it. I ordered the brown and really like the color, the faux fur is not bad...I have not had the chance to play outside in the snow yet, so that will be the true test to see if it stays dry...it is definetly warm! VERY lightweight and I too had my doubts about it being warm enough, I was IMPRESSED! I would prefer for it to have something around the waist to keep out the cold, but it is fine if yu have a sweater or heavy shirt underneath. Overall I think I will like the jacket! I would recommend this to anyone!!!
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This is the second time I've ordered this coat in about 4-5 years. Not b/c it's not made well, it is!, but b/c the coat I have now has turned into my dog-walking coat (our family has adopted a dog since I got the first one) and I want another one as the coat I have now will inevitably get dirty. Even after washing it is time for an upgrade to wear out and about. I want to have one of these as a 'work' coat and another for a 'town' coat.
It's kept me warm and dry, even during the East Coast blizzards last winter. I got the orange color that was available a few years ago, which is great to walk the dog in, b/c we have hunters in this area. I love the Eskimo parka look also. Now the only dilemma I have is deciding which color to order: the blue or white?!
