ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I'm tall & thin (5'8", 130 lbs), & the medium fits nicely in shoulders & sleeves. Surprisingly warm & the fur around the hood does wonders to reduce the wind chill. Pockets keep hands warm & are large enough to store my small leather gloves. Bit breezy around the waist. I'd also like more pockets to hold a wallet or tissues. Zipper could work more smoothly.
After reading lots of the reviews posted about this particular coat, I decided to take a chance and try the coat for myself. I absolutely LOVE the color (chalk blue), looks great with the faux fur trim! The coat is very lightweight, not bulky like my other coats. I normally would wear a Small (4/6), but I ordered an XSmall since the reviews said the coat ran big. I still have plenty of room to layer if I wanted to. When put to the test (15 degrees), my shoulders were still warm, but the rest of my body was cold. As mentioned by many other reviewers, the coat needs a drawstring at the bottom. That is the only con that I have found so far. Not sure if I will keep this coat or try a longer length to eliminate this issue.
I love the weight of the jacket (very warm!) and the overall look and style. However it was much too large for me from the waist down. I'm 5'6" and 115lbs and the XS was quite large in the waist and over the hips - not fitted at all on me. Since there is no cinch cord at the bottom, there is no way that I can keep the cold from entering from the bottom. I'll be (unfortunately) returning it later this week.
